We all know that the snark and great one liners are liberally sprinkled throughout all of Jim's books, and there are plenty of sources out there for Dresden quotes (Results 1 - 10 of about 105,000 for dresden files quotes via google). But what about Codex Alera quotes? (Results 1 - 10 of about 12,500 for codex alera quotes. via google). I think we need to spread the funny.
I'm sure there are loads in First Lord's Fury, but lets give it another couple of weeks and I'll do a post for just quotes from FLF. For now, comment with your favourite quotes from the first 5 Codex books.
To make them easy to go through, lets steal the format from IMDBs memorable quotes pages.

CHARACTER 2:

or
Quote the entire section of text (much more typing, but at times makes more sense).
Page number would be nice, but I know sometimes the books are not readily at hand to reference.

Date: 2009-12-03 12:46 am (UTC)I was just getting ready to put an Ehren quote up, but for the life of me I can't remember what book or page number it was on. Normally I scribble that down on the scratch paper with the quote, but of course, I didn't this time.

Date: 2009-12-03 09:53 am (UTC)There is a lack of sites with good quotes. Often I want to do icons and can't find sites to get the quotes from.

TAVI: (about Doroga) He followed me home! Can we keep him? (Furies of Calderon, Ch. 41)
FIDELIAS: (Clubs his opponent to death)
ALDRICK: That's one way to do it. If you don't mind spattering blood everywhere.
FIDELIAS: You got blood everywhere.
ALDRICK: But mine's in a pattern. It's aesthetically pleasing.

MAX: Ambassador, in the course of my life, I have more than once been too ignorant to know that something was impossible before I did it anyway. I see no reason to jeopardize that success.
TAVI: It certainy explains your study habits...
[Princep's Fury, 85]
This are just I have written down, from when I read Princep's last week. I wish I had more D:
