codex_aleraHey guys, i just joined, so i thought id post.
Why did you start reading the Codex Alera series? I started reading them after i finished all 11 books of Dresden Files. I didnt think the series looked quite good, but when i had an extra 8 bucks, and a vacation, i figured it couldnt hurt. I love the books now, and i cant wait till Captain's Fury comes out.
Who is your favourite character? I think Kitai. Shes really entertaining, and i like her personality
Do you think Gaius makes a good First Lord? Gaius is ok. I think alot of people stretch their opinion of him. Everyone who is loyal to him is LOYAL to him, everyone who doesnt like him HATES him. No one just kinda likes him. I think hes ok, he has pros and cons, just as every leader has.
Do you believe Tavi will ever have a fury of his own? Yeah probably. In the beginning i was really wanting him to have one, and now im iffy on it
If you had to align yourself with one of the High Lords, which would it be? Well, i wouldnt align myself with one, but if i had to, the Aquitanes, i dont know them, i know they are ruthless, but id rather be on the end of the winning side
What is your favourite scene/moment in Furies of Calderon? The battle when Fade took up a sword next to his brother
If you had a fury, what element do you believe it would be? I would like it to be Earth, but as i am now, i bet it would be water. Maybe i could have both and be mud :P
If you were sent to Alera, and could take one item from our world with you, what would it be? Um, id take a fury
What do you hope to get out of this community? To see what others think about it.
Please explain your lj name. I made up Kero awhile ago. I think it was because i heard the name "Nero" and somehow switched N with a K.
