Has anyone noticed that all the covers of Codex Alera have a certain element of furies in them? Furies of Calderon has wind furies from a fury storm. I'm assuming Academ's Fury's cover has to do with Earth Furies. Cursor's Fury has water furies. Captain has fire. So i'm assuming whatevers after that has wood(or metal).

Could this be a basis for how many books there will be?

Jim has said from the beginning that there will be six books in the series, and there are six types of furycrafting! It'll be interesting to see if the covers continue in that pattern. I wouldn't be surprised, but then again authors rarely have much control over their covers.

No, we don't. Jim gave me the base art, which you can see in the Wallpaper, but not the completed version with text and stuff.

And folks can call me Priscilla, Priscellie, or Cellie. "Ellie" was the online pseudonym I ditched back in 2001. :D

I might. But we'll see how I do with the current art. I'd like to do something with all 4 covers on it, but we'll see how that goes. My graphics 'muse' has been on strike for a while. I keep trying to tempt it with chocolate, but apparently I need to find something even better than that.
