how are we supposed to discuss things without spoiling it for others? i mean there are things i want to talk about, but cant because it will spoil it for others who havent read it. i think we should mabye discuss things about the first 2 books or first 3, but i dont want to spoil anyones reading.

I've always, in other groups, just put my comments behind a lj-cut with a potential spoilers warning.

I would agree, the easiest way is to use an lj-cut and tell what books it would spoil for.

It states in the rules for the community: Anything that can be construed as a spoiler for the most current book released or future releases, place behind a cut and put 'Spoiler' in the subject so that members staying spoiler free can skip that post.

It also shows in the book list in the "About this community" section, exactly which books are considered spoiler books.
