I am new to this community, though not new to Jim Butcher.
I have read the dresden files, 1-8 and Codex alera 1-2.
Planning to get Cursor's fury soon. Sadly book availability is shoddy in India, esp of lesser known authors!
Was planning to ship from amazon, but shipping costs are twice the cost of the book

Anyways hello everyone.

Why did you start reading the Codex Alera series? Because I love Jim's other series

Who is your favourite character? Tavi

Do you think Gaius makes a good First Lord? Not really, he has good loyal friends.

Do you believe Tavi will ever have a fury of his own? Maybe some day, spoilers suggest that

If you had to align yourself with one of the High Lords, which would it be? None

What is your favourite scene/moment in Furies of Calderon? The battle scene in the end.

If you had a fury, what element do you believe it would be? Fire

If you were sent to Alera, and could take one item from our world with you, what would it be? My camera :D

What do you hope to get out of this community? Discuss about the books, and maybe get tips on how to source them here!

hehe, i think you'll change your apinion on a lot of things when you get the third book, and as to ordering it from amazon O.O good freaking luck, that's a lot of money to have it shipped to you. 0.0 hope you manage it though, it's one of the best books he's ever read, and it IS (in my opinion) the best codex alera book.

and why not any of the lords? what about plusida and riva? (plusida is the women that healled max in the second one when he got hurt in the ally way)

and don't wory, if you want any secrets, you came to the right place, and any one to talk to about the books, because everyone here will probably go on for a while while talking to you about them.
